Hardwood-Safe Casters

The standard casters on all Lexington Home Brands castered chairs are designed for use on carpets, area rugs, porcelain, ceramic, or stone flooring surfaces. If the chairs are used on solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, composite or vinyl flooring, polyurethane casters are recommended. Using standard casters on these softer surfaces may result in tracking marks or damage to the flooring which is not covered under the terms of the warranty.

For softer surfaces, polyurethane casters are recommended and available from the resource below. Please refer to the illustrated instructions when replacing the casters. Care needs to be taken to not damage the sleeve when removing the casters, and equal care needs to be taken in re-installing the replacement casters.
